Conner is the Managing Partner of Trive Capital, responsible for all facets of the firm’s activities.
Prior to founding Trive Capital, Conner was a Partner at Insight Equity, a firm he joined at inception. Conner has also worked at Stonegate, a middle market buyout firm focused on the building products industry, and Bain & Company where he focused on turnaround management, business strategy and merger integration consulting.
Conner received his MBA from Harvard Business School and B.A. from Vanderbilt University.

Prior to founding Trive in 2012, Chris was a Principal at Insight Equity. Preceding that, he was with the management consulting firm Bain & Company, where he spent time working with companies across various industries and situations.
Chris earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds a BS in Computer Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas A&M University.

Prior to joining Trive, David was with Insight Equity, where he was involved in deal execution and operations for investments across a number of different industries, including Automotive, Infrastructure, and Energy, among others.
Prior to joining Insight, David was an Associate at Pamlico Capital (formerly Wachovia Capital Partners), a Charlotte, NC-based private equity fund with $2 billion of capital under management. While at Pamlico, he evaluated and executed middle market buyout and growth equity investments in the Media, Communication and Technology Service sectors. In this role, he also provided on-going support to portfolio companies for add-on acquisitions, debt refinancing and various strategic projects. David began his career as an Analyst in the Merger & Acquisition group of McGladrey Capital Markets.
David graduated from Vanderbilt University where he earned a BA in both Economics and Philosophy, magna cum laude.

Prior to joining Trive, Blake was with Insight Equity, where he helped launch the firm’s New York office. While at Insight, Blake identified and executed operational initiatives within portfolio companies and evaluated new investment opportunities across a number of different industries.
Blake has also worked as an Analyst with Houlihan Lokey, where he was a member of the Financial Restructuring Group. While at Houlihan, Blake was involved with a variety of transactions within the group, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed mergers and acquisitions across various industry segments, including Technology, Telecommunications, Oil Field Services and Health Care.
Blake graduated magna cum laude with a BBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.

While at Sequel, Shravan sourced, executed, and managed investments in the Food & Beverage, Agribusiness and Plastics industries.
Before joining Sequel, Shravan was an Associate with Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group, the firm’s hybrid credit investment platform. While at GSSSG, Shravan was responsible for evaluating and executing credit and structured equity investments as well as partnering with portfolio companies to provide capital support. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Shravan was an Analyst with Houlihan Lokey.
Shravan received his BS in Economics and Masters in Professional Accounting (MPA) from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Before originally joining Trive in 2015, Andrew was an Associate at a family investment office in Florida. Prior to that, Andrew was an Analyst within the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group at William Blair, where he advised on a variety of mergers, acquisitions, and equity financings.
Andrew received his BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with distinction and a concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Tanner began his career as an Analyst for Main Street Capital Corporation, a Houston-based Business Development Company, where he focused on valuation of debt and equity investments in Middle and Lower Middle Market portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Trive, Troy was a Managing Director at Thackeray Partners. During his 13+ year tenure, he was a leader on the firm’s Investment Committee and head of the industrial platform. Troy played an instrumental role in five institutional private equity funds representing approximately $4.6B in transaction value and equity placements of over $1.1B across multiple assets classes.
Troy received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Steve began his tenure at Trive Capital as General Counsel before being promoted to COO in 2020. He became Partner in 2023. Prior to joining Trive Capital, Steve was General Counsel of Hosting.com (now Ntirety) in Denver, Colorado. Prior to his role at Hosting, Steve practiced law with a large international law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, and corporate matters. From 2014 to 2016, Steve was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he taught a course on private equity.
Steve received his J.D. with honors from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from the College of William & Mary.

Prior to joining Trive Capital, Trevor was a partner in the restructuring and insolvency group of a large international law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he represented lenders and other parties in loan restructurings and workouts, bankruptcy proceedings, federal and state court litigation and other distressed transactions. Prior to private practice, Trevor was a judicial law clerk to United States District Judge Henry Coke Morgan, Jr. in the Eastern District of Virginia.
Trevor received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and his B.S., summa cum laude with honors, from Virginia Tech.

While at Energy Spectrum, Ashley managed the legal and compliance functions for the firm.
Before joining Energy Spectrum, Ashley was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for GMT Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund manager in Atlanta, GA. While at GMT, Ashley oversaw all aspects of legal and regulatory compliance for the firm. Prior to GMT, Ashley was Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel for Infinity Capital Partners, an Atlanta-based private fund manager. While at Infinity, Ashley built out the compliance function for the firm and acted as the first in-house counsel.
Before joining Infinity, Ashley was Assistant General Counsel and Compliance Director for J.P. Morgan, focused on legal and compliance for the Private Bank’s funds. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Ashley was an associate in the Investment Products practice group at Sidley Austin, where she provided legal advice related to fund formation and regulations impacting private fund managers.

Prior to joining Trive, Trey spent five years at Hudson Advisors L.P., investment advisor to the Lone Star Funds, where he most recently served as Director and Senior Tax Counsel in Hudson’s Legal Department. In that capacity, Trey was responsible for structuring real estate and private equity deals originated by the Lone Star Funds in the Americas and for oversight of certain of Hudson’s global tax functions, including transfer pricing. Prior to his role at Hudson, Trey spent 12 years at Ernst & Young LLP in the firm’s Dallas, Washington D.C., and London offices where he advised foreign and U.S.-based corporate clients on international and transaction tax matters.

Prior to Tolleson Wealth, Hana was Senior Fund Controller at STRAIT Capital managing the fund administration and reporting for various private equity fund clients. Hana started her career at KPMG as an audit associate with clients spanning private equity and manufacturing industries.

Prior to joining Trive, Cameron worked at KPMG as an audit associate. While at KPMG, Cameron was involved in audit procedures of different industries such as private equity, commercial real estate, and life sciences.
Cameron received his BBA and MBA from the University of St. Thomas—Houston.

Prior to joining Trive, Catherine was an Executive Assistant to the President and Founder of Brownlie & Braden Advisors, LLC, a Dallas-based financial advisory firm. Prior to BBA, Catherine had a background in banking and customer relationship management at PlainsCapital Bank.
Catherine graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management.

Sara graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies & Human Services, with a minor in Leadership Studies.

Stevie is the Office Manager at Trive Capital. Stevie oversees Reception and is responsible the smooth and efficient operations of the office including managing facilities and team events.
Prior to joining Trive, Stevie worked as an Office Services Specialist at the Moss Adams Dallas office for 7 years. During her time there, Stevie managed the administrative and facilities team and acted as the lead event coordinator.
Stevie received her BS in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma where she was recognized by Sigma Alpha Lambda, the National Leadership Honors Society.

Prior to joining Trive, Carrington worked within the Front Desk/Operations team at the Hilton Dallas Park Cities before becoming the Sales & Catering Coordinator for 2 years. During her time there, Carrington managed all administrative duties as well as created and oversaw all reservations needed for the hotel’s corporate and group related clients and partners.
